Supporting the Ministry of Defence with Sustainable Furniture Redistribution

At Assets4Change, we are proud to launch MoDReuse, a dedicated initiative designed to help the Ministry of Defence access quality reused furniture and IT equipment while reducing costs and environmental impact.

As a sister initiative to the successful GovReuse programme, MoDReuse follows the same proven approach, ensuring surplus furniture is redistributed efficiently within MoD sites and to other public sector organisations that need it most.

Through our sister company, Johnsons Asset 360, we work with clients to redistribute redundant furniture and IT equipment to military bases, defence offices and associated organisations, preventing unnecessary waste while supporting sustainability initiatives.

Assets Are Listed

Surplus MoD and public sector furniture is tagged and listed on the MoDReuse portal.

Registered MoD users can browse available items and request what they need.

Requests are sent to the relevant client or department for approval.

Arrange delivery

Once approved, assets can either be collected or delivered with a quoted cost if required.

Offered to other organisations and charities

Any remaining assets are then offered to public sector organisations and charities.

Full CO₂ and cost-saving reports are generated, providing visibility on sustainability and financial impact.
