At Assets4Change, we are proud to launch UniReuse, a dedicated initiative designed to help universities access quality reused furniture and IT equipment while reducing costs and environmental impact.

As a sister initiative to the successful GovReuse programme, UniReuse follows the same proven approach, ensuring surplus furniture is redistributed efficiently within universities and to other public sector organisations that need it most.

Through our sister company, Johnsons Asset 360, we work with clients to redistribute redundant furniture and IT equipment to universities, colleges and higher education providers, preventing unnecessary waste while supporting sustainability initiatives.

How UniReuse Works:

Assets Are Listed

Surplus university and public sector furniture is tagged and listed on the UniReuse portal.

Search for assets

Registered university users can browse available items and request what they need.

Authorisation

Requests are sent to the relevant client or department for approval.

Arrange delivery

Once approved, assets can either be collected or delivered with a quoted cost if required.

Offered to other organisations and charities

Any remaining assets are then offered to public sector organisations and charities.

Savings report

Full CO₂ and cost-saving reports are generated, providing visibility on sustainability and financial impact.

Let us know what you need and we’ll work to source it for you, typically free of charge, through our sustainable reuse network. Once we receive your request, we will reach out if and when we can match your needs with available stock.
